Cross Country — Crandall Park International Ski Trails are just 10 minutes away. Crandall Park is our pick for the best FREE groomed & lit ski trails for night skiing in the northeast. Garnet Hill Lodge – 1 hour drive, spectacular views & well groomed ski trails. Fee: $5-$10. Warren County Trails – 20 minute drive. Beautiful tree forest & open country trails. no-fee.

Lake George is filled with miles of snowmobile trails! Snowmobile trails give you the option to connect to other trail systems throughout the area and into the Adirondacks. When the ice is thick enough, 5 to 7 inches, you can even take a ride across the lake!

Fort William Henry hosts it’s very own Ice Bar in February every year. We serve up hot soup, drinks, beer and cocktails at a full ice bar with sculptures and more. Lake George Winter Carnival
Lake George Village offers a month long celebration of winter during this annual family-friendly event at Shepard Park! The Winter Carnival officially begins with the New Year’s Day Polar Plunge and First Day in Lake George. The Winter Carnival then picks up again each weekend throughout February, so mark your calendar and take part in the fun!
