As a valued guest of The Fort William Henry Hotel, we appreciate your loyalty and the trust you place in our ability to provide a safe and comfortable environment. Our highest priority is recognizing the ongoing and increased uncertainty that coronavirus (COVID-19) is causing our guests’ and associates’ health and well-being. With that in mind, we wanted to update you on the actions we have taken in response to the outbreak.

Cleanliness Standards

Rest assured, our standard cleaning routines are extensive; however, we have increased our efforts throughout our resort during this time. These actions include, but are not limited to, cleaning and disinfecting hard surfaces and frequently touched items in guest rooms and throughout the public spaces of our hotel. It’s important to note that our cleaning materials and supplies meet or exceed industry standards. Please view our safety video for more information.

The focus on cleanliness and sanitation is imperative to our operation and has always been a top priority for our resort. These additional measures will work to help ensure we continue to provide a safe environment for our guests.

We are closely monitoring the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention statements regarding the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) cases and following guidelines from this agency and the State of New York and local health departments. The well-being of our guests and team members is of the utmost importance.

Per Executive Order from New York State Governor Andrew Cuomo, any individual who is over age 2 and able to medically tolerate a face-covering shall be required to cover their nose & mouth with a mask or cloth face-covering when in a public place and unable to maintain, or when not maintaining, social distance.

The state of New York has issued a travel advisory for anyone entering or returning from travel. For the most updated information, please refer to New York State’s COVID-19 Travel Advisory page.

We ask that anyone who feels unwell or has been in recent contact with someone with COVID-19 postpone their travel for other guests and our team members’ safety.
